Born and raised outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sarah is the daughter to a family of creatives. Her grandmother being a tapestry loom weaver, grandfather an industrial designer, father a software architect, Sarah was encouraged and inspired to pick up a pencil and sketch from a young age. Using her grandfather's coveted display of prisma markers, she would design patterns and illustrations using color and lines. Sarah also finds inspiration from her European family heritage. With her mother being a first generation Italian, Sarah was constantly surrounded by beautiful textiles. These fibers inspired the materiality in Sarah's award winning collection shown at MFW and in New York. Sarah creates and designs with purpose. Each piece is meaningfully made both physically and conceptually.
In 2016 she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a BS degree in Textile and Fashion Design. She also received her AAS degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Fashion Design. Sarah currently resides in NYC where she has been working in the fashion industry for the past 5 years.
